hello, candice here. my friend, gab, and i compiled a couple beomjun fics that i liked and would like!! to recommend to you all. there are the ones that are above 20k. i've personally read all of these and encourage you to read them too <3

Some background:

 

First, Choi Yeonjun is a third-year Dance major, close friend, and the object of his affections for the past two years (Soobin would interject, love at first sight, with disgust, though Beomgyu disagrees).

 

Second, this big fat crush he’s been harboring is preventing him from living his life to the fullest. College is supposed to be the time to explore, date and learn what you want in a relationship. He can’t do that when he’s only got eyes for one person.

 

Third, given the first two points, he’s come to the answer that he just needs to get over Choi Yeonjun.

 

The question is: how?

 

The answer: Sometimes, the best way to get over someone is to actually just date them. Or, in Beomgyu's hopeless case, ask them to help you practice dating. No, Beomgyu will not explain how that works.

Two weeks in Daegu with Beomgyu.

 

They’ve been looking forward to it all summer. Just the other night, Beomgyu had chatted his ear off about all the things he wants to show him, all the restaurants he was going to take him to, and how Yeonjun won’t be able to talk shit about Daegu anymore. Like Yeonjun could anyway—he can’t say anything bad about a city that gave him Beomgyu.

 

in short: vacation fic, relationship study, sequel to the fic above, also a study on the idea of love and what that means.

candice: "also my fic...lol. but whatever i worked hard on it so you should also read it. it's the sequel to the fic above. personally my best writing. in addition, it's a fic that doesn't really have angst, which is unique considering its long length. source of the plot itself is yeonjun's own exploration of his idea of love. it deals with everything that the first fic didn't and presents the other side of the story. if you want to be healed and to believe in love again, you should read it."

candice: "honestly who hasn't read this fic? i don't need to recommend it because you've already read it, but just in case you haven't, you should read it. the action is very cool, like in the summary, look at that!! look at that!!! so so so cool. a wild ride from beginning to end. this was the original chaptered fic everyone read."

summary:

 

Bright-eyed Beomgyu is young, yet to see how this world is not as rosy hued as he thought. Yeonjun grows up in a rougher part, only knowing how to answer with his knuckles and sarcastic words.

 

When they collide with each other, they forget where their worlds started and ended.
